Price and payment
- Price
- Couple Premium, one subscription for both partners in a pair: US$11.99 a month on the monthly plan, or US$59.99 a year on the annual plan. Prices are set in US dollars. At checkout, our payment provider Stripe may offer to charge you in your local currency instead. If you choose that, Stripe converts the price at its exchange rate on the day of each payment, so the amount in your currency can vary from one payment to the next.
- Other charges
- We add no tax or fee to the price. If you choose to pay in your local currency, Stripe's exchange rate includes a currency conversion fee of 2–4% of the price, set by Stripe and paid by you; it is included in the amount shown in your currency. There is no such fee if you pay in US dollars, though your card issuer's exchange rate and fees may apply. You pay your own internet connection costs.

- Credit or debit card, or another method shown on the payment screen. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- When you pay
- When you subscribe, then automatically at each renewal (every month or every year) until you cancel. With a free trial, the first payment is taken when the trial ends.
The service
- When the service starts
- Straight away, as soon as you subscribe.
- Contract period and automatic renewal
- One month on the monthly plan, one year on the annual plan. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same US-dollar price until you cancel. If you pay in your local currency, each renewal is converted at Stripe's exchange rate on the day of that payment.
- Free trial
- 7 days free, once, if neither you nor your pair has subscribed before. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
- Other conditions
- Couple Premium works while you are paired with your partner on AltScape. If you unpair, it ends for both of you at once: a web subscription does not renew, and the rest of the period is not refunded. This page covers purchases on altscape.ai; in the App Store and Google Play, the store's own price, terms and cancellation apply.
- Operating environment
- Web: Chrome, Edge or Firefox 111 or later, or Safari 16.4 or later (Safari on iPhone included), with JavaScript turned on. Android app: Android 7.0 or later. iPhone app (once it's out on the App Store): iOS 15.1 or later. An internet connection is required.
Cancellation and refunds
- How to cancel
- At any time. When signed in, choose “Cancel subscription” on altscape.ai/couple, or use the “Cancel contracts here” page, which works without signing in. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date (during a free trial, before it ends). There is no cancellation fee, and Couple Premium stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Withdrawal within 14 days
- Within 14 days of the day you subscribe on altscape.ai, you can withdraw from the contract without giving a reason; a free trial does not extend this period. Use the “Withdraw from contract here” page or email support@altscape.ai. We then end Couple Premium for both of you and refund every payment in full within 14 days of hearing from you. During a free trial nothing has been charged, so the subscription simply ends.
- Refunds
- If you cancel part-way through a period, the rest of it is not refunded, and renewal charges are generally non-refundable unless the law requires a refund. If you were charged by mistake, for example by an unexpected renewal, a duplicate charge or a trial that wasn't cancelled in time, email support@altscape.ai and we will help.
